A four-session online seminar on Kafka’s diaries through the New York Institute for the Humanities and McNally Jackson Books

Glimpses into Kafka’s Workshop: Reading the Diaries

Thursdays, Nov. 12, Nov. 19, Dec. 3, and Dec. 10

7–8:30 PM EST, online

We’ll read and discuss Kafka’s diaries in my translation, considering the notebooks as a space for literary experimentation and the shifting boundaries between life writing and literary writing. The seminar is open to longtime Kafka readers and those encountering his work for the first time.
